Taking her sport seriously....

Today we have been taking part in a Chasing Sprint on two areas near Leeds.  The idea is that you run one race and then your time in that race determines your start time in the second race.  Hence you are 'chasing' the folks in front of you and the first to cross the line is the overall winner.

The first race was an urban sprint around a challenging housing estate where buildings looked the same and if you lost concentration you took the wrong ginnel, great fun.  The second race was around Goldenacre Park so more like the usual terrain run but in parkland.  Fun of a different kind.

Friend Christine enjoys a walk out with a bit of interest en route so she is not concerned about placings and points!
