Devastated Poppy

What a windy day – with a few showers thrown in for good measure.  BB got up far too early.  I tried to get him to go back to bed, but to no avail.  I was glad to be heading off to meet a friend for the day, as he was tired and grumpy.  I left the boys to their day and had a lovely day with my friend G.  We meet in Perth, had a wander round the shops, had a lovely lunch and had a nice catch up.  I bought a couple of things for summer – if it ever arrives.

These poppies were looking lovely yesterday – look at this one now – they have been devastated.  Hope the lupins (extra photo) survive.
