Ruffled Feathers

It was a tad windy today - 44 mph at one point according to the BBC Weather app!  I don't like strong winds, so didn't venture far and it's another shot of one of our resident woodpeckers for my blip.

This is the female (no red head!) and she was certainly getting her feathers ruffled in the gales, though she hung on for ages while the feeder swung and twirled!

The weather is supposed to be calmer tomorrow and just hope it warms up a bit too!
