Discovery

We have noticed a lot of comings and goings of a blackbird in our front garden over the last wee while, and, sure enough, we discovered this nest this afternoon.
Our excitement is dampened , however, by the fact that we are having major work done on our front garden this coming week. We only hope that we can keep disturbance to a minimum and that mummy blackbird gets the space she needs to prepare for her babies. It would be awful if she had to abandon her nest.
