royalty to the maximum
so today we stood for 6 hours on top of a raised platform, with a mini garden ledge thing, consisting of a bush - which, may i add was totally flattened due to about 7 of us standing on it, desperate to see the boats of the river pageant.
we waited, and waited, and waited, from about 11am onwards, and at around 4pm, the pageant began! it was brilliant, so many amazing boats to see, i got about a gazillion photos!
i feel so honoured to be living at this point in time to be able to witness such a fantastic event, 90's kids, we rule ;)
just as the queens boat entered under the wobbly bridge, which we were situated next to, it began to rain from then into the next day, but we didn't care, we were less than 50 metres from one of the most respected people in the whole of the commonwealth!
i know this picture is bad quality, i had to have it on a low megapixel setting to save memory for the rest of our trip in london, but you can CLEARLY see who the Queen is, who Camilla is, and who Kate is - WOW :D
such an amazing day, by the ened we were so, so miserable, but ah well, it really was a once in a lifetime experience!
