Double rainbow

After work today we went to North Shields and walked along the fish quay. We got some fish and chips and ate them at the beach all wrapped up in our jumpers and coats, you wouldn't think it was June!
We walked along the coast towards the pier when it started to pour with rain! We decided to continue walking anyway and eventually the rain stopped and a bright double rainbow appeared. It was the brightest rainbow I've ever seen. I took a photo to blip of the rainbow with Tynemouth priory to the left and the North pier straight ahead.

We had a wander around Tynemouth before heading back to the fish quay and stopping of at the old wooden dolly pub for a drink before heading home.
