College Show

So last night was the opening night of teh college HND graduate show at Summerhall. After five hours sleep and a bit of a hangover (who ever decided free Whisky bars were a good idea?!?) I was in at nine for a class at the college then straight up to Summerhall.

I was there for a bit then nipped off to the spa for a quick steam and shower (and maybe a wee doze too) before heading back for five to set up the sound equipment which had been delivered.

I'd asked Bill, Duncan and Clair to DJ for us and tehgear had been delivered from Milton Road. Unfortunately when I went to set it up they had not sent any headshells or slipmats for the decks which posed a bit of a problem. Thankfully Clair was a star and despite being stuck on a delayed train from London made a phone call and had someone drop some off for us.

The night went well, it was very busy and loads of good work on show. We eventually packed up at nine before hijacking teh three DJs and heading to ours for some food then through to Glasgow for Optimo. Unfortunately Dunc decided to head home as he'd drunk a bit much for the Sub Club so we dropped him back in town on our way.
