Field Day

Field Day has become the regular start of the festival season for us. For the last couple of years it's been run over two days, the Saturday tending to be electronic, dance based acts and the Sunday more indie rock.

On paper the Saturday line up this year was as good as any festival bill.

The day's been ok, but for whatever reason it didn't quite have the feel of last year, it's difficult to put a finger on exactly why. Owen Pallett was the standout act, the likes of Caribou were of course very good.

And a couple of moans, the amount of litter was an absolute disgrace and the lack of places to buy coffee inexplicable.
