Whoosh...

Unexpectedly found myself at a bike race this evening. I was on my way to a friend's birthday celebration and the race was in between me and the bar! They were going VERY fast! Most impressive to this cycle commuter who's not very speedy. I didn't watch for long as I wanted to find my way around to the party on the other side of Smithfield.

This is the event. My photo is of the women's race. I saw a couple of penny farthings (apparently there was a penny farthing race too) but didn't manage to get a shot.
