Day 1 Heaven on Earth

Stopped to smell the roses at Heaven on Earth near Azalea, Oregon on the first leg of our journey to Colorado.

Lessons learned:
1. Auto air conditioners must be recharged sometimes.
2. Those who survived 90+ degree weather without air conditioners when they were children, may experience a mild form of PTSD when placed in the backseat of a pickup truck (for several days) with non functioning air conditioning.
3. Those "few extra lbs" make a big difference when things heat up :-/
4. Even when Google says an auto business is closed on Saturday, it's a good idea to call anyway.
5. You never know when a guy named Chad will become your hero.
