Storm front
Here in Florida, we frequently get the east winds from the Atlantic colliding with the west winds from the Gulf. When these winds come together, we get a storm front which generates some rather strong and active fronts. Lightening is usually associated with the storms along with darkness, torrential rain, strong winds, and loud thunder.
I tried to catch the front coming in, and in the extra photo, seconds before the rain, with lots of wind, I tried the catch the sun darting around the frontal clouds. Exposure was tricky because the light was quickly changing , the trees were swaying and the storm was moving in. I chose to get inside before the lightning got to close.
