The Ride

"Waiheke Unpaved" - as the organiser advertised...."an exploratory ride on unknown tracks. The route has been worked out only by looking at maps and Google satellite shots. I have no idea how much will be rideable. Be prepared for anything...complaining will fall on deaf ears!"
An early start with the 7am ferry, and a good weather forecast. 10 intrepid explorers headed off....yes, it was hard, a lot of pushing and carrying bikes but great fun and lots of laughs and sweat and mud.
