The Day of the Durif
Bob and I were asked along to a lunch today where we all brought a contribution to the meal and a bottle or two of wine made with grapes of the durif variety. Its a red wine grape, mostly grown in Australia, California, France and Israel. We took along one from California, just for fun, but Australia's durif is mostly grown around the Rutherglen area in Victoria.
Great wine, great food and great company.
And now a quiet evening to recover.
