New Red

Moved our Apple TV from the big back TV, which we'll be selling to a woman at work, to the smaller, and much less obnoxious xP TV out the front. Once it was set up, I noticed that I could connect it with my Flickr. For no especial reason, I did so - although I then found I can set my photos as slideshows or screensavers, which is nice.

However, before then came the day's first joy. We went to buy another pizza oven; we figured it would be sensible to buy one and test it, before the electrician comes back. If the new one also blew the circuit breakers, then there would have be a problem in the wiring, that he'd need to fix (and we'd not be sad about having an extra/spare pizza oven xP ); if it didn't, then the problem must lie with the old oven. Welp, it appears it was the old oven. W00T. The new one is a Breville; we hunted high and low through three shops, in order to find one which didn't have Pete Evans' name on it. xP

The day's other joys consisted in use of the kitchen. I whipped up a pasta with leftover seafood, and some veg, and I was damn pleased with myself, and the result. Then for dinner I got all Gennaro’d with a garlic and rosemary chicken bruschetta thing. Along with the zabaglione I made last night, this is one of the best things I've ever cooked. Wowowowowow ... you should all go cook it. Now.  I don't care what time it is; you want to eat this. Seriously.
