Way of the Cross

Reflective worship at an Edinburgh church this lunchtime. A monthly service that I regard as "home", partly because I have nothing to do with organising it.

Time to reflect and lay before God some decisions that need to be made for the year ahead.

Time to listen in the stillness for a word or image of guidance.

Time to give thanks for that guidance and to leave in peace, sure that the way ahead will lead to Christ, even if it's an unexpected and fairly unique path.

Christ, King of the mysteries, watch over my journeying.
