Red White & Blue

The flag is missing but the colours are there. Celebrating the Jubilee in the pub at lunch time, in Surbiton, while the rain pours down outside. Inside we are having lunch, and the beef burger came with a Union Flag which may make up for the lack of flags elsewhere. We were dutifully able to wave our miniature flags at appropriate moments during the celebrations without the discomfort of actually having to participate in person, while sipping our wine.

After all the celebrations, and more bottles of wine that I care to remember, it was time to wind down and think about the return to Aberdeen.
