Where time dances idly in the waves

Took the new bike for its first ride this morning - to the church's coffee morning & back. Either I was going at records speeds (for me; about 7mph) or it just felt faster, because I was further from the ground
or, thanks to the suspension, I didn't feel every little bump in the road very personally.

We saw 3 buzzards on the way back & in the afternoon an aeroplane was doing all sorts of tricks in the field opposite us (obviously in the air above the field opposite us). We stood in the road watching him and I took a few photos & he tilted his wing to us to say goodbye when he left.

We had sirloin steaks on the stones for dinner with the above.
