first lunch of the year out on the sea side, with Jeffrey, who is painting again today.
smoked rice with prawns.

i decided to replace the 'view' shot (now in Extra photos) with a pic of Jeffrey's afternoon palette because it's a feast of glorious colour.  this is straight out of the camera.

Jeffrey has gone on his way now and left me with a little gem of a painting.  i have to wait for 3 weeks for it to dry and then i shall have it framed so he can see it hanging when he returns in the autumn for a longer stay.
