Salted toffee shards

I've been watching a lot of My Kitchen Rules recently (actually I'm addicted to it) and I decided to try out a couple of new things for pudding today as Sainsbury's didn't have any strawberries available.

I bought some pancakes which I warmed and added ice cream to. I made some raspberry coulis - very easy to make and very tasty - and the salted toffee shards that you can see above. I love the way the shards captured the light and you can even see the grains of salt on them. I'd like to know what Pete and Manu would have awarded me for my pud!
