Compulsory inclusion for my excursion to North Ronaldsay, the tallest land based lighthouse in the UK built by Robert Stevenson . The sheep eat seaweed and are excluded from the fields. Twitchers love the island which is famous for migrating birds. Only a weekly ferry so supplies are infrequent.
