Croome House

On route back from Stuart's parents, we hopped off the M5 to Croome House. It was next door to a WW2 airbase  (Defford) where they continued the development of RADAR. The house itself is undergoing major restoration but it was a lovely afternoon for a walk around the grounds. It's the first place I have seen a tour up on the scaffolding - it would have been interesting to go but I was wearing flipflops!
