Creativity in progress

Today I have had a very self indulgent day and have been playing with my Sudbury silk. As it frays so much, and I didn't want to detract from the beauty of it, I tried making a petal by cutting out a shape in bondaweb. Sewing some backing fabric, turning the right way round, and inserting 'floristry wire' which I had left over from sugarcraft.... Initial experiment seems to be going well... Frustrated I have a long hard week ahead at work. Would far rather continue my experiments.
