broken home

near my mum's house is a church run school for disadvantaged children. my daughter and i walked the dog in its grounds and came across this sorry sight.
on the way up the M40 Gladys (the sat-nav) created the usual conundrum.
she warned of a traffic jam that would delay our journey by 7 minutes. however the next motorway gantry warned of 30 mins delays, so i plotted a route around the problem section.
as we got closer to the exit point to take our diversion, there were a series of 4 gantries with no warnings, so had the problem gone? the next gantry had the warning but the one after was blank!!
we took the diversion but we'll never know ....
