Fish Dinner Again!

Day 2 in Nothumbria and a trip out to the Farne Islands. Hats are recommended when disembarking on Inner Farne as the Arctic Terns dive-bomb the human visitors. Not only are heads pecked but bird-poo bombs are also released for good measure. I was pecked four times and poo-bombed twice.

The islands are heaving with birds at this time of year. A truly memorable day.

Fresh crab roll for lunch on the harbour side at Seahouses. Afternoon tea with scones and seafood pizza supper.
