Through a looking glass, darkly
Today was quiet. Time to relax and take stock.
I planted out the annuals in our turning circle as I do every year. I also hope that the slugs will keep away, as I do every year!!
This afternoon I slept. Bliss.
After dinner I drove along the Military Road to see the white piano in a field, left over from the BBC Music Day on Hadrian's Wall last Friday. The piano had gone, so I called into St Oswald's church at Heavenfield.
There is an old, fragile harmonium and I took this picture of the reflection in the mirror that would be used by the organist to see the vicar.
