Sunset through the wood line

A completely unplanned drive home after work having found my usual exit slip road shut.

Initially peeved at the additional time to an already long journey, I decided to follow my nose and make a meandering journey thorough some rather pretty countryside.

No other drivers to irritate the view ahead, or encourage me to move on down the road going this way, so had time to stop and take in some different views.

I might not necessarily choose to take the additional hours diversion again, but today this was okay.
