Avram Grant

I listened to a podcast of Avram Grant at Auschwitz from a bbc 5live broadcast - which was exceedingly moving and though provoking "don't call them animals they were just men like you and me" - difficult to listen to but well worth the effort.

I am pleasantly surprised that the English football team are going to Auschwitz this week - shows a maturity that can only be positive for the game.

I'm heading back from London and it always amazes me how vibrant it is and how much of that is due to our differences - my hotel was just down the round from the office of the high commissioner of Swaziland, I ate Lesotho / British fusion for lunch yesterday and Indian for dinner and I saw St George crosses and union flags all around the capital.

Anyway positivity breeds positivity - the same way negativity and evil breed the same. Roll on Euro 2012 and the Olympics - going to be a good summer.
