Garden fence with a difference

A & E have now left me in charge of Max and the watering etc. Had to go for a long walk with him this afternoon whilst they loaded the car and escaped for he is totally devoted to them. However he appears relaxed now after chasing up and down the garden fence defending his territory against those walking the other side so he hasn't lost his spirit. It is quite extraordinary how many butterflies there are - haven't seen so many since I was a child - every step into weedy patches releases a cloud of them.
