A happy find.

An early walk along the river Ythan paid big dividends this morning. There it was, grazing on a rock at the river's edge in the early morning sun, the incredibly rare Water Haggis Botulus maximus aquatilis. I have never seen this really special animal before - I am really chuffed! I must get the sighting sent off straight away to NESBREC (the North East Biological Records Centre).
