The Reluctant Otter

On my morning stroll I spotted a pair of Otters enjoying the sun and romping in the grass beside the pond. Reluctant to have their picture taken this was the best shot I got as she followed her mate back into the water.

I'm not particularly happy with the sharpness of the pics I took this morning so I see some quality time in my future spent cleaning hardware and checking settings. It's one of the kit lenses on my Nikon D3100. Anyone have any suggestions?
