Last for this year

The azaleas and rhodies do not seem to have lasted very long this year. I liked this orange one with the dark richness of the maple.

Mr C attacked his supper last night with too much fervour, causing his front tooth to crack and wobble. So he's off back to Hexham to line the pockets of the dentist.

I've been to my book group. Our next book has been chosen by the woman who never reads - she finds out stuff from the Internet instead. Her book is Indian Summer, about Mountbatten, his wife and her affair with Nehru. I'd read it before as part of a session on India, and I suspect it was pretty rubbishy as I gave it to the charity shop. I won't buy it again - maybe I'll look it up on the Internet.
