Elephant's Eye

We've had rain at last so grass has popped up on some of the areas of burnt mountain, this and because the air was so crisp seemed to make the burnt areas far more visible.  Fortunately there were no major landslides on this end of the mountain.  We can also clearly see the work being done by forestry to try and harvest the burnt trees while they are still viable.  The question now is whether they will replant or hand the land over to the Table Mountain National Park for fynbos revegetation.
