Clematis at close of season
The book on Mindfulness arrived today. I read it for a while during a rest after work, and later found myself wanting to read it while eating supper! I think that's not the point.
I didn't have time to take a pic on the way to my second job, as I was hurrying along the canal towpath trying not to be late. I didn't see any ducklings today, either. So here is a clematis from the garden, to remind me to live in the moment, even if the moment is about contemplating the fading of a flower's full glory.
The oven is heating up for artisan bread-baking, and I am watching Nigel Slater's Eating Together. What's not to like?
