Puffin.

JamJam has longed to see  puffins since she was seven years old , and today her dream came true. We had a marvellous day visiting Staple and Inner Farne Islands in Northumbria. Both islands are bird sanctuaries, teeming with many species of sea birds. We went out by boat, along with very many keen photographers and ornithologists, and spent two hours on each island.
I took far too many photographs of course! I have put some on Flickr - you can see them here., 
We drive back to London tomorrow, stopping in York along the way.
