New Damsel

A recently hatched damselfly landed on a hawthorn leaf a short distance from me. I took 2 shots from a distance but sadly that was all since as I approached for a close-up, it flew away again. It was the only one I saw in the half hour I was at the loch. There should be many more hatching within the next few weeks.

This is probably a female common-blue.
