New mean machine....

Mr. M. picked up his new mean machine at lunchtime today (in the rain), that is a 125cc bike today. It's a new colour too in this range.

We both have these bikes which are brilliant for getting out and about and around the island, easy to park and costing about £7 a month in petrol.

Although I have a car, the bike is great for work - and I use mine all year round, in rain (which we are getting a lot at the moment) or whatever the weather is like; but always wear fully protective clothing even when the weather is good. We both used to have bigger engine size motorbikes, but with an island speed limit of 35mph and 25mph in built up areas, we never seemed to get out of second or third gear.

Ooops - must take down the bunting from the weekend celebrations !
