Good day/Bad day
Yesterday, 8th June, started off just fine. I visited a hotel/spa not too far away from home and had a lovely hour-long aromatherapy session, then relaxed on one of the garden loungers, spent time in the outdoor jacuzzi & indoor (of course) sauna - read a lot, iPadded a lot until - suddenly the day went pear-shaped ...
Received a phone call from my sister-in-law saying that she had returned home from a hospital appointment to find her husband - my brother - lying dead on the kitchen floor. Major shock! He is - was - 5 years younger than me. I've decide that today, 9th, I will drive up to their home in Doncaster to see what practical help I can be, although Jenny does have family with her at the moment - her daughter and two young adult grandkids. (I have recent experience of handling some of the practicalities one needs to deal with on such occasions, having lost my wife last August.)
So who is the young lady in the photo? Her name is Hayley - was just one of the customers at the spa whom I'd never met before - and was quite happy to be 'Blipped'. (I just had a small point-and-shoot camera handy.)
It is possible, under the circumstances, that I may not get a chance to blip anything today.
