Marsh Fritillary caught by Garden Cross Spider
We went back quite early to the nature reserve to see which Moths had been trapped overnight. We then walked over a few fields of the reserve looking for Marsh Fritillary butterflies. We were not disappointed. The weather was perfect as it was sunny and the wind had dropped. Saw several courting & mating ; also a lovely green hairstreak and plenty of common blues in the top meadow.
