Flowers of the field

This is one of our hay fields along the road, photo taken while walking Riley.  Within an hour of this shot, the skies opened up and we had a few hours of steady rain and lots of wind.  The rain is badly needed, and Mr M decided he had too much to do to let the rain stop him, so he kept working on chores around the yard in spite of it. Which means I have a few more clothes to wash tomorrow.
