No exciting walks today

Today it is extremely windy and rainy here in 'not so sunny St Ives'. When Ann came home from work she didn't have a clue where to take me for my walk.

I'm only allowed on the beaches between 7pm & 8am in the summer................. so we couldn't go there.

Ann didn't want to go in the fields because with the amount of rain we've had today, the fields will be very muddy. That doesn't bother me.............................but we didn't go there.

Town is full of grumpy holiday makers and squealy brats eating soggy pasties in shop doorways. There are crowds of people mooching around the streets aimlessly.................so no way were we going for my walk around town.

So; I was put on my lead and we walked to the outskirts of town. Then Ann said to me, 'Shall we go and see if Steve's about?' Steve is one of my favourite men. Steve bought a 'Linen Hire Business' in January and we promised him we'd go back and blip his van when he got his signage on it.

So here I am with the lovely Steve. Hasn't he got a smart 'linen lorry' now?!

However, much as I love the 'lovely Steve', I've not had a proper run about today?! Ann says I'm a lucky collie to have had almost 2 hours of walks even though I have been on my lead.

.......................But she's promised me I can have a lot of 'off lead' play tomorrow, even if the weather's bad. YAY!
