Small World

Met with our teams new Director today. Before we met I’d spoken to him on the phone and recognised his accent from the North east England but couldn't quite nail it. It turns out he was actually from Darlington, same as me! I've now lost my accent after living in Scotland for the last 11 years but he still had his. Small world!
We worked out we went to the same secondary school (14 years apart). Even smaller world! Good to have a wee reminise about bits and bobs! Also got to try a new coffee shop, Gesso, that opened a couple of weeks ago I’ve been wanting to try. A successful afternoon!
