Hoof Fungus - I think?

I know...this fungus really isn't good for the tree.  But I thought it looked kind of cool anyway.  

My daughter has her pre-op appointment for her surgery tomorrow.  It's just a tube in her ear but I'm so nervous.  I think I'll blip some more to keep my mind going in a positive direction.  Or perhaps my daughter and I will use a little retail therapy....not sure!
