Mr Prickly

This little guy was discovered on a side of a road in Saudi Arabia! I was thrilled when my neighbour asked me to take photos of it as I never came so close to a porcupine before! From what I read on Wiki, the habitat for this little fella is definitely not Saudi Arabia or even not near to the Arabian Gulf Region! So I wonder how it happened to be here?
