The church tower looking small from the road level

When out yesterday I noticed the green showing through the reeds, today after visit to the hairdresser (her work room has a view to die for) I had another go at taking a picture but with the same result. However this hawthorn caught my eye. It lies almost horizontal to the road edge, an indication of the weather. A pleasant walk there and back and warmer than yesterday, almost balmy. But... As I write this afternoon feels cooler.
