It needed a friend!

I was feeling a little sorry for myself, so popped into the garden to get a blip, garden is a huge exaggeration, it's a building site. But in the corner of my eye I saw what I thought was a leaf moving on an old weedy thistle. It turned out to be a baby Goldfinch! It was trembling. I scooped it up as cats could have got it! It was trembling, but after hubby took a couple of pictures, and it had caught it's breath, it flew off into my neighbours Fig tree, where it's family is often hanging around!
