Indecision...

Walking to the library this morning, I passed umpteen flower blip possibilities, but I thought it was time for a change! So instead I grabbed a couple of shots of the town's controversial new civic centre. (Some of you may remember following its development...)

With the newly completed landscaping and planting, and with the weathering of the 'gold' cladding, the buildings are starting to settle into their environment a little more. The complex has already won two design awards, and has just been named Best Corporate Workplace at the British Council for Offices regional property sector awards, and will now move forwards to compete for the national award.

So apparently it's a great place for the council's employees to work! But for the local residents, well the retail units still stand empty except for the one café and one mini-supermarket. Time will tell....

Been busy today preparing for a big bus adventure tomorrow, and still lots of jobs I need to do this evening... As a result am feeling tired and indecisive, couldn't decide which of two shots to use so have put the second one as an extra photo. Will leave you to decide which you prefer...
