Strange

The past few days have felt strange here. Ydy all phone networks and internet went down, no one knows why though rumours abound. There was a rush on petrol stations and now there's no petrol left. I spent the afternoon with a refugee family  and chatted to the parents while the children did craft (we sat outside on their 'verandah' where it was a bit cooler) and it just felt so very depressing hearing how totally hopeless they feel about their future. I then come home to my very nice house and wonder how two lives can be so different and how we can live like this without feeling very guilty about it.

But one very positive thing was that we finished school for the summer- you can't imagine how happy that makes me!
