The Jolly Brewers, Milton.
My good friend Diane treated me to a tasty (belated) birthday lunch today. We went to The Jolly Brewers pub in Milton, Cambs, which is a 17th century building, Grade 2 listed. Originally timber framed and plastered, it is now encased in 19th century gault brick, but inside it has some original features and a large open fireplace. We then went on to Horningsea garden centre, now owned by Scotsdale's, where we had a browse around and a cup of tea. A really nice day out catching up on each others news. The extra photo is of the delightful old thatched cottage next to the pub, which is also 17th century.
