Nothing very interesting
I reviewed today's photographs and they all seem a little dull. I picked this one simply because I find the tones appealing.
I have just been out on a safari to investigate the fenced-off marshy ground that adjoins our property. I have been meaning to go in and photograph the Marsh Marigolds for some time now as they have been looking stunning this year. I knew in my heart that they must be past their best but I plodded down the garden in my wellies, along the road, in the gate to the field and alongside the freshly harrowed ground all the way to the gated entry to the area of interest.
The gate was tied up with barbed wire.
I was not willing to climb over without somebody to hold my camera safely for me so I contented myself with shooting over and through the fence.
I was right - the Marsh Marigolds are way past their best now.
I did find a patch of mushrooms though and took photographs in order to identify them later. So far no luck with that. Extra photo is the top side.
Clue me in, if you know.
