Croagh Patrick

Left home at 5.30am to drive to Westport in County Mayo, the plan was to rendezvous with earthdreamer in Galway but sadly due to pressures at work he was unable to join me. I made good time and decided a good leg stretch was needed so up Croagh Patrick it was, the last bit was steep with rubble underfoot! The views from the top was worth the effort, headed to the beach afterwards to cool the feet.
Westport is one of my favourite towns in Ireland and after a delicious supper I went to a great music session staying out much later than planned, a very full day indeed!
